Rate Information

Custom Tours

Half-Day Tours (3.5 hours) cost $240 for a group of 1, 2, or 3 persons and $280 for 4, 5, or 6 persons.

Full-Day Tours (8 hours) cost $480 for a group of 1, 2, or 3 persons and $560 for 4, 5, or 6 persons.

If tours are planned to last longer than 8 hours, $70 will be charged for each hour past the initial 8-hour period. (We don't charge for extra time when the tour goes beyond 8 hours due to traffic or our enthusiasm to show you one more sight.)

A Taste of Wine Country Tour (4.5 hours) costs $300 for a group of 1, 2, or 3 persons and $350 for 4, 5, or 6 persons.

Journey to Monterey Tour (10 hours) costs $640 for a group of 1, 2, or 3 persons and $720 for 4, 5, or 6 persons.

Quoted rates are for tours beginning and ending in San Francisco or at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). If you wish to be picked up or dropped off in another locale, a surcharge may be applied.

Custom Vacations

We charge $40 for each hour of vacation planning we do for you. This includes booking lodging, making restaurant reservations, securing tickets for any events you might want to attend, and designing an itinerary for your visit.

We will provide you an estimate of the amount of time involved in planning your vacation as well as an estimated cost before we begin work. At that time, a 50% down payment is required. The balance is due when we provide you with your final itineraries and bookings. Payments are final, with no refunds.

Cancellations and Exclusions

There is a $25 cancellation fee for tours cancelled more than 48 hours in advance. Payments for tours cancelled less than 48 hours in advance of the start of the tour are not refundable.

If, for whatever reason, Blue Heron is forced to cancel your tour, all fees will be promptly refunded.

Tour prices do not include entry fees, meals, or driver gratuity.

Tour prices to the wine country do not include tasting charges.
